Community Protocol
HGH
Preparation examples, syringe conversion, community-reported patterns and prescription-somatropin safety warnings.
Educational and calculation-reference material only. Community reports are uncontrolled anecdotes and do not replace professional medical guidance, product labeling, or individualized clinical monitoring.
Scope
Preparation examples, syringe conversion, community-reported patterns and prescription-somatropin safety warnings.
Available strengths: 24 IU and 36 IU
Preparation Examples
These are calculation examples only. The concentration assumptions below are explicit so syringe units are never separated from vial strength and diluent volume.
| Setup | Diluent | Concentration | Unit conversion |
|---|---|---|---|
| 24 IU vial example | Add 2.4 mL only if directed | 10 IU/mL | Each U-100 unit = 0.10 IU |
| 36 IU vial example | Add 3.6 mL only if directed | 10 IU/mL | Each U-100 unit = 0.10 IU |
Syringe Conversion
| Reported amount | 24 IU setup | 36 IU setup |
|---|---|---|
| 1 IU | 10 units | 10 units |
| 2 IU | 20 units | 20 units |
| 3 IU | 30 units | 30 units |
| 4 IU | 40 units | 40 units |
Always recalculate from the actual vial strength and diluent volume. A U-100 unit is 0.01 mL; it is not a dose by itself.
Community-Reported Patterns
| Recurring report | Frequency seen | Context in reports |
|---|---|---|
| 1-2 IU | Daily or 5 days/week | Lower-start and recovery reports |
| 2-4 IU | Daily, sometimes split | Most recurring physique-use range |
| Above 4 IU | Daily in some posts | More side-effect reports and confounders |
Observations
- The reviewed discussions most often clustered around 2-4 IU per day, with some contributors starting at 1 IU to assess tolerance.
- Morning, bedtime and split morning/bedtime timing were all reported; there was no community consensus.
- Reported benefits were often confounded by concurrent training, diet, testosterone, other drugs or other peptides.
Caveats
- FDA somatropin labeling warns about impaired glucose tolerance or diabetes, intracranial hypertension, hypersensitivity, fluid retention, joint pain and carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Prescription somatropin is dosed for diagnosed indications under clinician monitoring. Online physique-use reports are not an appropriate-dose standard.
