Community Protocol
Tesamorelin
Preparation examples, syringe conversion, community-reported patterns and important limitations.
Educational and calculation-reference material only. Community reports are uncontrolled anecdotes and do not replace professional medical guidance, product labeling, or individualized clinical monitoring.
Scope
Preparation examples, syringe conversion, community-reported patterns and important limitations.
Available strengths: 5, 10 and 20 MG
Preparation Examples
These are calculation examples only. The concentration assumptions below are explicit so syringe units are never separated from vial strength and diluent volume.
| Setup | Diluent | Concentration | Unit conversion |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 MG vial – 2 mL example | Add 2 mL bacteriostatic water | 2.5 mg/mL | Each U-100 unit = 25 mcg |
| 20 MG vial – 2 mL example | Add 2 mL bacteriostatic water | 10 mg/mL | Each U-100 unit = 100 mcg |
Syringe Conversion
| Reported amount | 5 MG setup | 20 MG setup |
|---|---|---|
| 500 mcg | 20 units | 5 units |
| 1 mg | 40 units | 10 units |
| 2 mg | 80 units | 20 units |
| 3 mg | 120 units | 30 units |
Always recalculate from the actual vial strength and diluent volume. A U-100 unit is 0.01 mL; it is not a dose by itself.
Community-Reported Patterns
| Recurring report | Frequency seen | Context in reports |
|---|---|---|
| 1 mg | Once daily | Lower community reports |
| 2 mg | Once daily | Prescription-label-aligned discussions |
| 2-3 mg | Once daily in some reports | Higher experimental use |
Observations
- Community discussions most often centered on visceral-fat reduction, body composition and growth-hormone-axis goals.
- The amount, frequency, route and cycle length varied substantially between reports.
- Reported outcomes were commonly confounded by diet, training, other products or existing treatment.
Caveats
- Prescription tesamorelin has indication-specific contraindications and requires monitoring of IGF-1 and glucose; community use is not equivalent.
- Community reports are uncontrolled anecdotes and do not establish an appropriate dose, safety, product identity, purity or efficacy.
